Sawa
Meeting of two cultures.
Sawa is a Montreal brand of high-quality coffee that collaborates with African cooperatives, thus stimulating the continent's economy. Our objective was to revitalize Sawa's visual identity to appeal to young urban professionals. We created a friendly and warm logo, with round and simple letters, evoking the daily pleasure of coffee. Additionally, we designed three mascots inspired by African hieroglyphs, while reflecting the curves and welcoming character of the Sawa logo.
The main color palette consists of green and orange. Orange symbolizes the warmth of roasting and the warmth of Africa, which gives coffee its distinctive character. Green represents unroasted coffee and underlines Sawa's ecological commitment, a core value of the brand.
